As Luxembourg law firm, “KAYSER, BECKER & WAGNER ”

(the “Firm” or “We “) can be required to collect and treat personal data of our clients.

We value privacy and confidentiality as our highest standard.

The Firm only collects information when it is strictly necessary for the management of the client file(s), such as addresses (both postal and electronic), phone numbers, residence, birthday and occupation.

We are, under specific circumstances, required to collect data in order to meet our professional obligations regarding the anti-money laundering and fight against terrorism financing legislation (“AML”).

Additional data may be collected by the lawyer(s) assisting you. This will be done on a case-by-case basis if the imperatives of the client file(s) require us to do so.

All personal data collected by the Firm is stored securely and is subject to the strict provisions of the professional confidentiality.

Personal data will not be shared outside of the European Economic Area. Collected data will be treated and maintained during the time where one or more client file(s) is/are active. When files are closed and archived, personal data may be stored for up to 5, 10 or 30 years.

Our clients can access their personal data without any financial input; this data does not however include parts of the client file(s). Clients may contact the firm in order to request (i) the transmission of a copy of collected personal data, (ii) the modification of such data and (iii) the deletion of personal data. Deletion of personal data cannot be operated in order to avoid AML requirements, nor where it is necessary for the lawyer(s) to explain her/his/their intervention in the client file(s).

For additional queries regarding data protection, please do not hesitate to contact the Firm via email.
